Lost Eidolons: Gift Guide (Gift Locations & Best Gifts for Each Character) - GamePretty (1)

by Robins Chew

Gift guide for which characters like which gifts and when recruitable units arrive and leave camp.

Introduction

This is a guide for which gifts are liked by which characters. From experimentation gifts only fall into two categories they are either gifts that give a flat amount of rapport or gifts that are liked and give a larger amount of rapport. Gifts that are liked and give a larger amount of rapport show double arrows pointing up next to the rapport meter once the gift is given, so far I have not found any gifts that give a decreased amount of rapport or show arrows pointing down next to the meter.

How to obtain gifts

Gifts can be obtained in 4 ways:

The first and most common way is by buying the from Rare Item Vendor Salma. Salma appears in camp during chapter 6 and then every 2 chapters after wards, so chapter 8,10,12 etc. She has a random selection of 5 gifts. Legendary gifts cost 500, Rare gifts cost 300 gold and common 200 gold

The second is from completing side quests, the ones marked with ? on the camp map. Not all side quests provide gifts, but most do

The third is by completing the the prestige quests on the board, they can be sometimes be obtained from the thank you parcels you receive every 15 prestige points. These quests also increase you leadership limit and undo turn amount.

Finally you can obtain a gift from certain characters when you get their rapport high enough.

Recruitment – when they appear and leave

Most recruitable characters will randomly appear at your camp however some like Daliah need to be invited. If you increase a recruitable units rapport but then don’t recruit them, the next time they appear in camp their rapport will be set back to zero (This may be a bug).

  • Daliah (Assassin):
Invite Daliah to camp by speaking to Andrea multiple times (leadership needed) in chapter 8
Daliah arrives at camp in after being invited in chapter 9, or 13 if not invited prior
Offer her 1000+200 to recruit instantly or 1500 to recruit and gain extra rapport
Daliah leaves camp at the end of chapter ?
  • Dane (Healer):
Dane arrives at camp during chapter 10
Dane leaves camp at the end of chapter ?
  • Edie (Healer):
Edie arrives at camp during chapter 13
Edie leaves camp at the end of chapter ?
  • Eris (?):
Eris arrives at camp during chapter 18
Eris leaves camp at the end of chapter ?
  • Fontaine (?):
Fontaine arrives at camp during chapter 18
Fontaine leaves camp at the end of chapter ?
  • Gabriel (Elemental Mage):
Gabriel arrives at camp during chapter 7
Gabriel leaves camp at the end of chapter 8
  • Gisep (Wizard):
Gisep arrives at camp during chapter 15
Gisep leaves camp at the end of chapter ?
  • Karin (Archer):
Karin arrives at camp during chapter 6
Karin leaves camp at the end of chapter 7
Karin re-appears at camp during chapter 14
  • Leta (Hunter):
Leta arrives at camp during chapter 15
Leta leaves camp at the end of chapter ?
  • Levana (Mystic):
Levana arrives at camp during chapter 9
Levana leaves camp at the end of chapter ?
  • Stella (Ranger Assassin):
Invite Stella to camp by speaking to Porter (leadership needed) during chapter 11
Stella arrives at camp in after being invited in chapter 12, or 13 if not invited prior
Stella leaves camp at the end of chapter ?
  • Viturin (Warrior squire)

  3. Overall, great guide. its been quite helpful to me going through this game on my playthrough!

I would like to add though, that I have discovered a pair of gifts that aren’t on your list. The Wooden Lute (Rare) and the Wooden Flute (Common). Both are good for Sera. I haven’t tried these out on any other companion so far.

  7. Rapport unlocks for Andrea, Marchelle and Sera ? … even I am too late now, as Marchelle and Sera already have left my Camp, as I only had them at Level 2+ , Andrea was 3 and stayed. Has that happen because of that or part of the story ?
